Meet the new physioteam!

Welcome to the new physio team! Rob, Vic and Shunsuke will be treating our first team players this season.

We'd like to introduce the physios:

Rob Brummans:
The young physio graduated from Hasselt University in 2020. During his student years, he did an internship at STVV with the B-team. He then joined them on a part-time professional contract, while also working for a private practice. Last year, Rob promoted to the first team part-time under trainer Hollerbach. Now, the 25-year old native of Boekhout takes charge of the team as Head Physio. "I used to play for STVV as a youth player (U12 to U17 Elite), so I've always had a connection with the club. The funny thing is that the day after I got my diploma, I was called by Pär (the previous Head Physio) to come and work for the B-team of STVV. Since then, I have only moved up the ranks".

Shunsuke Adachi:
Shun has been part of the team since November 2020. The 36-year-old Japanese came all the way from Kanagawa (a city near Yokohama) to Sint-Truiden back in 2019. "I am officially trained as an acupuncturist, which I also perform on the players when necessary. I first took care of some Japanese players privately, until I became a full member of the team of physios last year," Adachi explains. STVV is his first experience outside Japan and in the sports world. Before that, he worked in a private clinic in Japan.

Vic Wouters:
Vic is the new man in the team. After the departure of Deniz Zengin and Cedric Dieltiens, the club was looking for a replacement. Vic is also an alumni of UHasselt. "My dream has always been to work in the football world. I have always been a football player and because I come from the region, STVV was an obvious choice". The 28-year-old from Diesten joins the club as a physio. It's not Vic's first job in football. He previously worked as a physio for the B-squad of Westerlo.
