No more away supporters allowed until the end of 2021!
The Board of Directors of the Pro League met this morning to discuss possible new measures concerning the pandemic, with an eventful football weekend in mind. The Board finally decided that from now on, no more visiting supporters will be allowed in the Belgian football stadiums, at least until the end of this calendar year. This means that our STVV supporters the matches RSC Anderlecht - STVV (14 December) and KAA Gent - STVV (18 December) from home must follow.
Quote press release:
"After consultation, the Board of Directors decided that from the next match day until the end of the calendar year, no more visiting supporters will be allowed in all matches of the Pro League (Jupiler Pro League, 1B Pro League and Croky Cup). This measure installs a cooling-off period around our games and, by temporarily stopping bus travel by visiting fans, will also have its impact on the virus circulation which we can thus limit."
