Suspension Bernd Hollerbach

Suspension Bernd Hollerbach

In the absolute minutes of the last home game on Saturday, December 11 against Cercle Brugge, the head coach of the Canaries, Bernd Hollerbach, received a red card from referee Kevin Van Damme for protesting at the heat of the moment.

We would like to emphasize on the fact that our head coach made sure to apologize right after the game personally to the referee.

We, the Club, accept the following proposal of the RBFA's prosecution department:

Proposal for amicable settlement: 3 games suspension, of which 2 games effective. Starting December 15, 2021 and with 1 match conditional suspension until December 14, 2022 + an effective fine of €2500.00.
The German T1 of the Canaries will therefore not be at the helm for:

  • The away match against KAA Gent on Saturday, December 18
  • The home game against KAS Eupen of Monday, December 27
