Games behind closed doors

After the awaysupporters were no longer allowed in the Belgian stadia, now the home supporters also have to stay at home.

The Consultation Committee has decided that spectators will no longer be allowed at sports events, starting from Sunday 26 December. For STVV, this means that the Kanaries will have to do without the support of the Yellow-Blue Army during the home match against KAS Eupen (27 December).

Those who have already bought tickets for this match will be contacted and compensated. Season ticket holders will also be compensated as agreed at the beginning of the season.

"In the case of matches without an audience, the club will put the value of the missed match on the cashless card. This amount can then be used during other home matches or events at STVV on Stayen."

Each subscriber will receive further information about this.

Pro League: "We regret this decision, just like you. We have been able to keep the stadia open in recent weeks, with additional measures, but the evolutions regarding the Omikron variant mean that the government is now taking this decision for our sector as well."

Yellow-Blue Army, all support from home!
