What happened to our international Canaries?

Our Canaries are on their way back from international duties! Here is a small summary of their performances if you haven't followed them:

Jonathan Buatu
The Angola international was playing the qualification for the World Cup in Qatar with the Palancas Negras. In this double confrontation against Aubameyang's Gabon, the ball remained in the center. In the first match, Buatu and his compatriots won 3-1 with Jonathan's first international goal. The Gabonese then took the 3 points in the second game with a score of 2-0. Last of their group, the Angolans can still mathematically qualify for the next round. Buatu played the two matches entirely.

Liberato Cacace
The All Whites had two friendly matches against Curacao and Bahrain. Two trips that ended with a victory for Cacace and his team. In the first game against Curacao, the Kiwis did not manage to keep the clean sheet but won 2-1. Then, against Bahrain, the game ended with the score of 1-0. Cacace started and played 90 minutes in both matches.

Mathias Delorge
Belgium U18 had 3 friendly matches which they all won (Croatia 2-1, Czech Republic 1-0 and Denmark 3-1). Mathias entered the game against the Czech Republic at the 46th minute and started for the game against Denmark (subbed out at the 57th minute) and even hit the crossbar two times!

Daiki Hashioka
Our Samurai Blue had joined his national team for two qualifying matches for the World Cup. Unfortunately, Daiki could not be part of the selection of coach Moriyasu. The Japanese lost 1-0 to Saudi Arabia and won 2-1 against Australia. They are currently 4th in their group of 6 with 6 points. They still have 6 games to try to move up in the ranking.

Keo Boets
Selected for the first time with the U19 of the Belgian national team, Keo Boets was unfortunately not lined up by coach Wesley Sonck during the two victories of our U19 against France (1-0) and England (2-3).
