The community actions of STVV are largely organised by Vrienden van STVV vzw. Vrienden van STVV vzw organises those community projects with the efforts of many volunteers and financial resources. These resources are generated, among other things, from catering activities on match days.
Its responsibilities also include organising STVV's youth (national, provincial and regional), women's and G-Football. In the future, local sponsorship deals will also be sought to increase the operating budget. Given the non-profit association's stable sources of income, the community story does not stand or fall with sporting results or changes inside or outside the club.

STVV, through the non-profit association Vrienden van STVV, wants to make a positive contribution in the Haspengouw region by initiating projects and cooperation agreements on sports, health, education, integration, equality, illness, the disabled and underprivileged. The club goes for sustainable partnerships with lasting commitment, regardless of changes within the structure. As a basis for success, the club therefore relies on its many volunteers, stable sources of income and commitment from the heart. Without attention to the commercial.
Tradition
Given that the happenings at our club have been among the most popular topics of conversation for generations, we want to anchor our visibility and involvement in the local community and keep our traditions alive.
Respect
Respect is important, whether giving or getting it. Both on and around the football pitch and in the various social actions in which the club participates.
Integrity
Honesty and sincerity are absolute requirements in competitive football. Our displayed emotions on and off the pitch are real and we want to convey this in everything we do. With no hidden agenda.
